Consolidated Grants Application Process

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Community Support Grant are now under an annual Consolidated Grant application process.

  • Applications for the FY 2022-2023 application process will begin February 25 at 2 p.m. Please review the links above to learn more about the programs.
  • Projects and activities must meet eligibility requirements as defined by HUD, the city’s Consolidated Plan and other city grant guidelines.  
  • A pre-application meeting will be held for interested organizations on February 25 at 11 a.m
    • It is not mandatory to attend, but strongly encouraged. Please register by email at Consolidated Grants or call 972-547-7572. The meeting link will be emailed once your registration is confirmed. 
  • Application deadline to apply for funding: April 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
    • Nonprofits must apply through the ZoomGrants portal. The new application portal, technical and program support will be available February 25 after 2 p.m.

How to Apply for Consolidated Grants funding through ZoomGrants 

  • All applicants must apply for funding through the ZoomGrants Portal. First-time applicants must register to create an account in order to link to the application portal when it is released.
