Aggressive driving, better know as "road rage," is the leading cause of accident deaths. Unfortunately, it is common. But, it is also avoidable.

  • Be tolerant and forgiving.

What to Do if You Are the Target of Road Rage

  • Keep calm and follow traffic laws.
  • Do not pull over or stop for aggressive drivers.
  • Do not escalate the situation with your own actions.
  • Drive a well-lit populated area and call 911.

What to Do if You Witness Acts of Road Rage

  • Keep calm and follow traffic laws. Don't chase the bad guys!
  • Call 911 and give the dispatcher as much information as you can regarding what happened.
