Mowing & Maintenance

The city is responsible for the maintenance of:

All municipal building grounds
Fire stations
Parks
City-owned recreational areas and athletic fields
Some medians and rights-of-way. Those not maintained by the city are the responsibility of local HOAs.

Please note: The city is not responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of State roadways.

Mowing - The mowing cycle for city-maintained medians is once every 7 and 14 days. Inclement weather may delay the maintenance schedule.
Irrigation - City-maintained medians are irrigated within outdoor water use guidelines.
Tree care - care, planting and removal.
Removal of debris, overgrowth and brush from streets, sidewalks and alleys.

TxDOT is responsible for the maintenance of state highways, ramps, and frontage roads as outlined below.
