The McKinney Police Department uses the Traffic Complaint Hotline to improve driver education and voluntary compliance with traffic laws. Citizens who observe a red light violation or any other dangerous driving behavior are encouraged to contact the Traffic Unit at 972-547-2835, and provide the license plate number of the vehicle involved in the incident and a description of the incident. Any issue that is in progress or an emergency in nature should be reported immediately by dialing 911.

Report violations or concerns through our Traffic Enforcement Request form. The Department welcomes the reporting of any observed traffic concerns in McKinney.
