Council Meeting Dates

City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of the month with Work Sessions beginning at 3 p.m. and Regular Sessions beginning at 6 p.m. As-needed Work Sessions will be scheduled for 3 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Public Meeting Guidelines

Council Agenda

The Council Agenda lists all items under consideration during a session. It is available to the public 72 hours before the meeting. Agendas are available online and on the City Hall bulletin boards.

Citizen Comments

Citizens have two opportunities to speak to Council - at the beginning and end of every meeting. 

  • Each speaker must complete a speaker request form and submit to city staff at the meeting. The form is available online for prior print-out or at the meeting. 
  • The Mayor or Meeting Chair will determine the amount of time people will have to speak.
  • Every person will have the same amount of time to speak.

Comments submitted by other means, including email, will be delivered to Council but will not be included in the meeting record.
